Just a few years ago, the hot Christmas gift of the year was a brand new high speed laptop with wireless capability. This year, that need for wireless speed has gone one step further with all the new developments with computer pads and tablets. These little gadgets are basically hand held, light weight portable computers that can also be used as a TV, movie theater, game station, library and music player. The most popular one currently on the market is the iPad2. There are rumors that an iPad3 will soon be released, but it will not be cheap.In fact the iPad2 comes with a hefty price. Current retail price is about $630 and up. For those on a much more limited budget, check out android tablets on Ebay starting around $60 and the new Kindle Fire on Amazon for $199.
